Position Details

Classification: AO6
Hours: 76 per fortnight
Type: 4 month contract (with possibility of extension)
Location: Brisbane (or remote)

This is a rare opportunity to join the Evaluation Unit in making a difference in improving workplace health and safety in Queensland.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Evaluation Unit are a small team who run a range of research and evaluation projects for the business.

Examples of the types of projects you may be involved in include:
• Behaviour change research projects e.g. understanding the drivers, barriers and perceptions towards a target behaviour
• Research to inform the strategic direction of advertising campaigns
• Customer satisfaction research
• Evaluations of training programs
• Evaluation of flagship events

This role will be involved in different elements of the research process including:
• Design of research methodology
• Design of research instruments e.g. questionnaires
• Use of survey software (Qualtrics) to build and distribute surveys
• Data analysis
• Report writing
• Literature reviews of the relevant academic literature
• Administrative tasks to support research processes such as:
o Leading procurement process for the customer satisfaction program
o Obtaining contact details of workplaces for the customer satisfaction program

Here's what you’ll look like:
• Relevant qualifications in social science
• Exposure to research and/or evaluation projects
