At the AES, we’re all about quality evaluation that makes a difference. Our aim is to establish and promote ethics and standards in evaluation practice; encourage advances in the theory and practice of evaluation; and provide education and training related to evaluation.

We provide forums for networking, professional development and the discussion of ideas. We aim to ensure diverse voices of the community are heard, including those who commission the evaluations, those who carry them out and the evaluands. We are inclusive of Indigenous and all other cultural perspectives.

Our members work as evaluators, commission evaluation work, manage evaluation projects, are an academic teaching and conducting research, a tertiary level student or a professional interested in evaluation and performance measurement.

Office closure

We are closed from 20 December 2024, reopening on 7 January 2025
