About the Role
As our Grants and Evaluation Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our grantmaking and impact evaluation activities. You will work closely with our team and community partners to capture learning, theme data, and develop internal communications that help shape our strategy and continuous improvement.
This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in grant administration, social impact measurement, and collaborative learning while being part of a dynamic and values-driven organisation.

Key functions

  • Support Partnerships: Assist with grant applications, assessments, and selection processes to ensure alignment with our strategy and values. Help administer grants, agreements, payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Evaluation and Learning: Contribute to our social impact measurement and learning framework by collecting, recording, and assisting in theming data. Support and contribute to the collection of relevant external data and evidence.
  • Communications: Assist with internal and external reports, summaries and communications to share learnings and insights.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Support relationships with partners, and sector stakeholders to foster collaboration and shared learning. Assist in workshops, events, and discussions on best practices in philanthropy and evaluation.

Experience and abilities
This role is ideal for someone early in their career (1–2 years of experience), who is an avid learner and keen to develop new skills and knowledge where needed. An interest or understanding of social change, evaluation, mental health, and wellbeing would be a great contribution to this position.

  • Strong written communication skills—confident in capturing and presenting information.
  • Project management skills —able to work across multiple projects and timelines by progressing individual tasks as part of collective goals.
  • A collaborative mindset—enjoys and is able to work alongside others and contribute to team goals.

Transferable skills and experiences - experience with external communications, utilising software e.g. canva, databases etc, and full drivers licence (as the role may involve some travel to regional partners) are highly desirable

The Details
Location: Adelaide, with flexibility for regional applicants.
Employment Type: Full-time.
Salary: Salary Package $70,00 - $100,000 commensurate with experience
(salary package includes base salary, superannuation, and salary sacrificing benefits)
