Our recent assignment was with PHAMA Plus, based in Fiji, on a preparedness project for African Swine Fever in Fiji, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu, working with agencies, commercial interests and civil society.
Other recent projects have included Hort Australia evaluations of the macadamia industry’s communications and extension support programs, Local Government Victoria’s Financial and Accounting Support Program, the Vietnamese Community’s feasibility study for a Vietnamese Museum in Melbourne, the Afghan Hazara community’s assessment of a potential community centre in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs and a Parks Victoria review of the research permit application process for Victorian national parks.
Other projects have been undertaken for Regional Development Victoria, Rural Councils Victoria, the Smart Water Fund (South East Water, City West Water, Melbourne Water, Yarra Valley Water, Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment), Animal Health Australia, Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (now Agribusiness), Victorian Fisheries Research Advisory Body, Victorian Trauma Foundation, Victorian Auditor-General’s Office, the Royal College of General Practitioners, Aged and Community Care Victoria and over 30 Victorian Councils.
David Brous sits on the Victorian Public Records Advisory Council as a Ministerial appointee representing the interests of public administration. He has also been a Ministerial appointee to the Health Services Review Council and Planning Panels Victoria and attended the Summit 2020 Symposium. He is a former Director of Public Administration Consulting with KPMG.
