First Person Consulting

At First Person Consulting (FPC), we bring a thoughtful and considered approach to our work. Our aim is to always work in meaningful partnership to ensure that not only do clients and communities benefit, but there is a positive legacy that lasts well into the future.

We have staff based in Victoria and Tasmania, though we work across Australia and internationally, on a variety of projects within the environmental, social justice, and health sectors. While we started as – and predominantly still are – an evaluation firm, we also recognise that a multi-disciplinary approach to work is often the most useful. This also means that we can support you in a number of different ways:

  • Systems Practice: Drawing on the latest systems thinking methodologies to underpin your strategic planning, program design, and evaluation efforts.
  • Evaluation: Conducting evaluations using fit-for-purpose techniques to deliver practical and useful insights for real impact.
  • Design: Applying design methodologies and frameworks, such as design thinking and co-design – to produce innovation and novel responses to complex problems.

Our strength is that we can go beyond ‘just evaluation’, and act as a genuine partner in your journey to greater impact.
