Location: Zoom
Presenters: Anna Davis and Dr Peter Stephenson | The Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities (TFHC), Northern Territory Government
Register online by: Wednesday 29 May, 2024

Event Description:

The NT Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Framework articulates a shared vision and commitment for a future where women and children are safe and families are supported. It is a 10 year framework implemented through a series of action plans. The Monitoring, Evaluation and Accountability Plan (MEAP - released in 2023) is a sister document to the Framework. It links what we are doing (actions) with what we want to achieve (outcomes), why we anticipate these changes (theory of change) and how we will know if we are making progress (indicators). This presentation provides an overview of the MEAP and shares some lessons from its development and implementation.

About the Presenters:

Anna is the Director of Strategic Policy of the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Division in the Northern Territory Government Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities (TFHC). The team leads the development and implementation of whole of government DFSV prevention and response strategies.

Peter is Director of Research and Evaluation in TFHC. Since 2021, Peter and a small team have been working across the Department’s program areas to support evaluation planning. The team conducts evaluations and supports the procurement and oversight of outsourced evaluations. Peter recently led a review of the Framework’s first action plan.

This seminar will be recorded, it will be available on the AES Youtube channel approximately four weeks after the date. We suggest you subscribe to the AES YouTube channel to be notified when new recordings are added.
