The end of the 2024 year is rapidly approaching. It’s a time to celebrate and reflect on what’s happened during 2024. The SA Regional Network is hosting a face-to-face end-of-year networking event.

As part of the event, the SA Regional Network welcomes the Fijian delegates who are the recipients of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and trade (DFAT) funded Australia Awards Program training short course in monitoring and evaluation.

As part of this 5 month short course, delivered in Australia and Fiji, a delegation of 20 Fijian civil servants with M&E functions from 17 ministries will be attending 4 weeks intensive M&E training in Adelaide and Canberra delivered by the University of New England International Capacity Building in collaboration with Donna Leigh Holden Consulting and Policy Performance.

The end-of-year event is an opportunity to create connections between the Adelaide AES community and the Fijian delegation. It presents an opportunity to learn more about the evaluation landscape in the pacific and to share your insights on trends in M&E with the Australia Awards participants.

There will be some short presentations from the Fijian delegation, but much of the event will be for AES members and guests to network.

This is a free event organised & co-hosted by the South Australian Regional Network of the AES & DFAT Australia Awards. Our seminar series provides an opportunity for you to meet with AES members and others in the evaluation community and to share and learn from the experiences of fellow evaluators.
