The AES invites you to join a facilitated online networking session to catch up with your colleagues in the evaluation field. This is an opportunity to meet new people from across the AES membership base as well as the wider evaluation community and to discuss several key issues facing evaluation and evaluators, such as:
- Adjusting to new ways of working
- Challenges overcome and lessons learned
- Reflective networking
Facilitators will be from the AES regional committees and the free sessions will be hosted via Zoom. AES members and the wider evaluation community are welcome to join our new series of engagement sessions.
Evaluations are delayed, programs are disrupted, contracts are being renegotiated, and you may be working with a toddler on your lap. In all this uncertainty, evaluators can feel stuck and need someone to talk to. This is a chance to bring your current challenge to a group of evaluators – we can help you think through your problem and work out options, give suggestions for techniques, and recommend sources for further information.
If you’re bringing an evaluation challenge for the group to discuss, please briefly describe it in the 'Topic for discussion suggestion' box when you register.
Who should attend?
This session is for evaluators facing challenges in their evaluation work due to COVID-19, and who want to discuss the problem with other evaluators. We also invite experienced evaluators to join the discussion.
