Members are encouraged to bring along colleagues with an interest in the topic even if they are not yet members of the AES. Please pass this onto your networks.

Seminar overview

In Developmental Evaluation, evaluative thinking and methods of evaluation assist social innovators to develop social change initiatives. Developmental Evaluation therefore contributes to the design of programs and sees evaluators providing real-time, or close to real-time, feedback to those testing different solutions as part of design. In some highly complex and emergent programs, the design phase is extended (possibly even indefinitely!) and in these cases the role of developmental evaluation is also extended. Come along to this seminar to understand some of the latest developments about Developmental Evaluation as well as exploring challenges and benefits.
