The AES invites you to join a facilitated online networking session to catch up with your colleagues in the evaluation field. This is an opportunity to meet new people from across the AES membership base as well as the wider evaluation community and to discuss several key issues facing evaluation and evaluators, such as:

  1. Adjusting to new ways of working
  2. Challenges overcome and lessons learned
  3. Reflective networking

Facilitators will be from the AES regional committees and the free sessions will be hosted via Zoom. AES members and the wider evaluation community are welcome to join our new series of engagement sessions.

Session overview

Evaluation is diverse, complex and evolving. There are many challenges keeping our evaluation brains busy and sometimes up at night!

This session provides the time and space to discuss the evaluation challenges and topics that matter to you most. It also provides the perfect opportunity to test an open space inspired approach in an online environment. This means you set the agenda.

If there's an evaluation topic you're keen to discuss with like-minded evaluators from around the country, please let us know and we'll put this on the agenda. Please include your topic suggestion in the 'Topic for discussion suggestion' box when you register.

If you can't think of a topic, join us anyway and join a group discussing a topic that speaks to you on the day.
