The Strategy, Corporate and Performance (SCP) Group at the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) are looking for a Senior Project Officer Evaluation to join the Aboriginal Outcomes team.This is a great opportunity to work with Community, facilitating evidence-based decision making from a community-led perspective and actively supporting delivery of the Department’s Aboriginal Outcomes Strategy.

In this role you’ll be designing and implementing evaluation activities as well as collecting data and conducting performance reporting for the Aboriginal Outcomes programs. You’ll also develop and implement appropriate evaluation plans, performance measures, reporting standards and assessment tools/systems.

Passionate about working with others, you’ll develop and manage effective working relationships and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as provide reports, presentations and briefings for senior executive across the Department.

To be successful you’ll need previous experience conducting evaluation and/or performance reporting, and / or research, ideally with Aboriginal communities, combined with a strong interest and commitment to the improvement of service delivery to and socio-economic outcomes of Aboriginal communities.

As well as this you’ll value collaboration, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be able to effectively lead projects and be adapt at changing priorities at short notice.
