Position: Project Officer, Evaluation 

Organisation: Liquor & Gaming NSW

The Research & Evaluation team within the Intelligence, Research & Program Delivery Unit in Liquor, Gaming & Racing is looking for an enthusiastic Project Officer with an evaluation background and strong project management skills to support its Liquor & Gaming NSW evaluation function. In this role, you will contribute to the evaluation of liquor and gaming policies and programs and help to drive continuous improvement across Liquor & Gaming NSW.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluation planning.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Stakeholder consultation and survey design.
  • Brief and report writing.
  • Provision of evaluation advice and support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience in survey design and evaluation planning.
  • Strong written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in consultation with internal and external customers.
  • Problem solving skills, flexibility and initiative.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
