With a public health career spanning 25 years, Dr Allison Salmon is passionate about using evidence to inform services, systems and practices. She has led complex research and evaluation projects and her consulting practice specializes in:
- Designing and delivering evaluations, including strategic advice on all aspects of monitoring and evaluation, service reviews and gap analyses. Allison uses both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and participatory design is key to her approach.
- Translating evidence to program design and delivery.
- Writing and reviewing funding bids and reports, including impactful grant submissions, literature reviews and environmental scans, technical reports, study protocols, ethics applications and publications.
- Public Health Workforce Development, including expert assessment and competency framework development and review.
