Seminar overview

The presentation will summarise the process and learnings so far, of working with people in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory, to design a place-based evaluation framework for the Barkly Regional Deal and its collaborative approach. This work commenced in Feb 2021, and has been led by the newly formed Measuring Change Working Group, with majority local Aboriginal membership. The group has developed a story of change for the overall initiative and with government and community stakeholders, is currently refining and reviewing a range of indicators. The purpose of this evaluation is developmental, with the findings intended to be used to improve the initiative throughout it’s 10-year lifespan.
